Vally 2000: Alcoholic drinks: important triggers for asthma

In this study, a questionnaire was filled out by 366 adult asthma patients.  Over 33% of them said that their asthma had been triggered by alcohol at least twice, with wine reported as the most frequent trigger. The authors discuss the possibility of this being related to the sulfite and salicylate in wines.
