This study followed 41,608 hospitalized patients with Covid. 40,536 were treated with Remdesivir, and 1,072 were treated with Ivermectin. Results were controlled for a number of possible confounds such as diabetes,
Ivermectin had a 70% decreased mortality, with p<0.0001 (which means there is only a 1 in 10,000 chance this could have been a coincidence or accident.)
CONCLUSION: “Ivermectin use was associated with decreased mortality in patients with COVID-19 compared to remdesivir.”
EDITED 3/19/2022: Unfortunately, the “fact checkers” decided that they don’t like the video I originally attached, in which Dr. Campbell led you through the study, and they have removed it altogether. So instead of Dr. Campbell leading you through the study, spend a few minutes reading it yourself before it, too, is removed. Such is the state of science today.
EDITED 9/13/2026. The study was retracted in June 2022 “at the request of the authors.” It was noted that Ivermectin was not approved by the FDA “for the treatment of Covid.” I will point out to you here that MANY medications are approved for treatment of one disease and found to be helpful for others as well. They do NOT need to go through a new approval process for each condition, but are freely used off-label for anything the physician finds helpful, even without any emergency situation such as Covid.
