Artificial sweeteners are worse than we thought

sweetenersWe already know too much sugar is bad for you ………but ARTIFICIAL sugar may be worse.

  • Azad 2016 — Association Between Artificially Sweetened Beverage Consumption During Pregnancy and Infant Body Mass Index.
  • Araujo2014 —  prenatal exposure (and exposure via breast milk) to artificial sweeteners results in obesity.
  • Toigo 2015 — animals exposed to aspartame during gestation ate more and were fatter adults with higher glucose, LDL cholesterol, and triglycerides.
